We are currently Hiering a Stage Manager
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Stage Manager to support our production team for our end of year performances. This role requires someone who is organized, calm under pressure, and able to coordinate multiple departments while working closely with a team that includes children.
Stage management is a collaborative role. The Stage Manager is responsible for the logistical execution of the show and for ensuring clear communication between all members of the production team.
Responsibilities include:
Call all lighting, sound, projection, and technical cues during performances.
Ensure technical elements are executed accurately and consistently.
Act as the main point of communication between cast, crew, and production staff.
Address technical or performance issues as they arise during rehearsals and performances.
Participate in pre-production meetings, rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and tech week.
Attend stumble-throughs and full runs to refine cues and timing.
Adjust calling and logistics based on performer movement, spacing, and technical needs.
Qualifications:
Previous stage management experience required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting a group of young performers
Professional, respectful, and collaborative working style
This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the production and requires both technical competence and strong teamwork skills.
Position Details:
Start date: March 14th (first stumble-through)
Application deadline: February 14th
Contract length: For the production of Anything Goes, with the possibility of extension
Final performance: May 10th
Compensation: Salary to be discussed based on experience
